Gert Scheerlinck beschäftigt sich mit der Poetik des Alltags. Mit Installationen, Skulpturen und Assemblagen rekonstruiert er Erinnerungen und Ereignisse. Scheerlinck präsentiert gefundene Objekte und Arrangements, die sich konzeptueller Ambiguität nähern, eine offene Interpretation ermöglichen und gleichzeitig eine stark minimalistische Ästhetik bieten, die an Arte Povera erinnert.
