The Volxem district in Forest/Vorst is rich in venues dedicated to contemporary art, and this year we are especially looking forward to welcoming you to our garden brunch from 11 to 1pm in the the Avenue Van Volxem 333 in 1190 Brussels.

The Holweck exhibition “Retrospektive” at the Moderne Galerie of the Saarlandmuseum in Saarbrücken will open on October 13th.

We are delighted that the exhibition “Oskar Holweck – Meister der Reduktion” at Villa Zanders has been extended until 7 July 2024.

Holweck experimentierte mit Papier wie in einem Labor. Er drang wie kein anderer in das Innere des Materials vor und bearbeitete es vorbehaltlos bis hin zur Entmaterialisierung. Das Gespräch mit seiner Witwe und Nachlassverwalterin Christiane Mewes-Holweck versteht sich als Versuch einer Annäherung an den Menschen und passionierten Hochschul-Pädagogen Oskar Holweck und den spannenden Entstehungsprozessen seines Werks.
Der Eintritt ist im Museumseintritt enthalten.

Amsterdam Drawing 2013 follows the first and very succesful 2012 edition. For Amsterdam Drawing 2013 40 galleries have been invited, amongst which several from outside of the Netherlands. Like last year the location will be the NDSM-Wharf which can easily be reached by ferry from the backside of Central Station. The fair will take place in a specially build, temporary pavilion of some 1200 square meters.
